More on my hair.

Shit, even I'm bored with this subject by now.  I just want to be finished.  Oops, she's here!  We will begin fixing more of my dreads now.

Later:  It's 1 in the morning and I've got a buzz on.  Locks Lady just left and we still have to have another appointment to finish these.  Ugh.  I'm glad she's so nice, funny, and patient or this would really suck much more.
The 7th:  My drunk ass hit draft instead of publish last night.  I suppose I am now disqualified from NaBloPoMo.  Oh well, I'll keep trying for the rest of the month.  I'm publishing it now as when it was written.

Tired scalp.

I'm exhausted all the time right now.  I have no idea if it's because sleep seems to always be the first thing to go or if it's the new meds.  Either way my idea of a perfect day right now involves about 16-18 hours of sleep.  I don't even need it all at once.  But 10 straight hours followed by several naps would do me just fine.

Also, I had my first appointment with the woman is fixing my dreads today and, well, let's just say that she underbid the job.  She originally estimated 10 hours of work to fix them and now it's considerably higher than that.  It's so bad that she's actually coming to my house on Wednesday to do some work.  Well, that, and it'll be easier on Bug to be at her own house then at the salon where she can't really touch stuff or move around a lot.

Onward and upward we go.

Hair and near tragedy.

I went to my second consult with the lady who I'm going to have fix my dreads today.  Good news and not so good news were involved.  Good news, she can fix the dreads that are not right.   Bad news, it's going to take a minimum of 10 hours, which will be done in two sittings or more.  Ugh.  I'm not sooo disappointed in the multiple sittings because I have discovered that in anything that requires monotony of action or pain, or both, I have about an 8 hour threshold for tolerance of said activity.  It's just going to suck because I'll have Bug with me, necessitating bringing a friend along to help as I cannot juggle baby and sit still as needed, and because I've already sat in so many chairs for so long for these damn locs.  Froggie asked what we'll have invested in my hair by the time that we finish and I'll suffice it to say that it's going to be a lot.  But this woman knows her shit, and she even consulted with God about my sorry ass hair, so I have faith that she can fix them and all will be right with the world in the end.
